Famous Linus Pauling Book, “Vitamin C and the Common Cold” published in paperback by Bantam Books in 1971. This 112 page Bantam Book was popular in the early 1970’s but wasn’t reprinted much. Hippie types who read this type of book tended to be hard on such a delicate paperback, often underlining throughout and getting the book wet and dirty and very worn. No Hippie got to this book. Just stored away. Probably wasn’t read. This is close to “new condition”, certainly higher than very good condition. Close up photos show condition well. With Covid it’s important to have your immune system functioning as a strong first defense, so this book is relevant just for that aspect. This is priced as a collectible.
